This is an early spring picture of part of our herb garden. This picture shows Thyme, Rosemary, Curry, Yarrow, the edge of the Sage, Lavendar, and Mint. A note on Mint. While mint is very easy to grow and makes a wonderful smelling groundcover, it is extreamly invasive. Much of the maintenance in the herb garden revolves around cutting the mint back. The mint has jumped from the herb garden to the rose garden as well! We have two varieties of mint. We have peppermint and spearmint. While both look very similar, with some practice anyone can tell them apart.
